Research funding success: UCC’s Dr Sinan Richards recipient of 2026 France Excellence-NUI Research Residency grant
Dr Sinan Richards was recommended by the Selection Panel of the 2026 France Excellence-NUI Research Residency to a period of research at the Laboratoire d’études et de recherches sur les Logiques Contemporaines de la Philosophie (LLCP) at the Université Paris 8: Vincennes - Saint-Denis.
Dr Sinan Richards has been granted the 2026 France Excellence-NUI Research Residency to a period of research at the Laboratoire d’études et de recherches sur les Logiques Contemporaines de la Philosophie (LLCP) at Paris 8. During his residency in Paris, Sinan will be affiliated with the LLCP, including in their seminar series and research activities. Dr Richards will also disseminate his research in invited talks at Paris 8 and the University of London Institute in Paris. Commenting on this grant success, Sinan said: “I am delighted to have been granted the 2026 France Excellence-NUI Research Residency award and I expect it will be instrumental in helping me complete the necessary archival research for my forthcoming book Homo Alienatus: Freedom and Psychosis in Lacan and Fanon (Liverpool University Press, British Academy Monographs).
