To mark International Woman's Day the French Department will host a discussion of Dr Sara Rahnama's new book The Future is Feminist: Women and Social Change in Interwar Algeria. 

Dr Rahnama will be joined by Dr Roxanne Panchasi, who is in Cork as International Visiting Fellow of the Society for French Studies, and Dr Dónal Hassett of UCC French Department. This will be a hybrid event and will take place 15:00-16:00 in the Shtepps on March 8th. There will be tea and coffee served before the event.
