The School of Film, Music and Theatre at University College Cork, Ireland, is seeking a candidate for an MRes – Masters by Research -- Studentship as part of our working relationship with Cork Opera House. The Studentship is one of the four pillars of the COH-UCC collaboration. An independent-minded, driven artist, whose artistic process demonstrates strong affinities with research-based investigations, and who enjoys engaging with theory-practice integrated approaches, will be well-suited to this opportunity. 

The Cork Midsummer festival starts today!  There are many shows that involve UCC alumni, staff and friends listed below but also many more. Come to the Midsummer Festival June 13-22.

UCC Youth Theatre hosts Strands, a Short Play MiniFest as part of Cork Fringe. Three Cork based Youth Theatres (Activate, Lightbulb & UCC YT) will come together to share their work on short plays with each other and a public audience. Plays will run from 2 minutes to 12 minutes covering a wide range of subjects and styles.
