Dr Paul Deane
Biography
Dr. Paul Deane is a Senior Lecturer in Clean Energy Futures at University College Cork (UCC) and a researcher at the MaREI Centre for Energy, Climate and Marine. With over 15 years of experience in both academic and commercial energy research, his work focuses on the transition to low-carbon energy systems, energy modelling, and climate policy. Paul is recognized for his contributions to energy systems modelling and has advised governments, companies, and communities on sustainable energy strategies.
