UCC Elec Eng Schools Quiz

The Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering in UCC has championed an Electrical Engineering Quiz for schools since 2001, and in 2013 celebrated the 12th Anniversary of the Quiz held at UCC. Over 130 students from schools all over Munster attended the 2013 quiz on 9th February, and a team from Christian Brothers College, Cork were the 2013 overall champions. The event was held in the Electrical Engineering Building on the Main UCC Campus. All teams competed for the overall title and a prize for the winning school and a perpetual shield. There were additional prizes given away in UCC on the day. The quiz is free to enter and is open to any 5th or 6th year students studying honours maths, with a team of 4 students permitted from each school.  Free refreshments are provided for all competitors, and teachers are also invited to attend. The 2013 quiz was sponsored by EMCESB, the CEIA, Horner Ireland and Analog Devices.

Photographs of all the 2013 winners receiving their prizes are available .
