Doctorate of Clinical Dentistry (DClinDent) In Oral Surgery

Applications are invited for this three-year full-time postgraduate training programme in Oral Surgery, commencing in October 2021.
The training programme has been approved by the Irish Committee for Specialist Training in Dentistry. On successful completion of the programme, a trainee will be awarded a Doctorate in Clinical Dentistry (Oral Surgery) by the National University of Ireland and will be eligible for registration as an Oral Surgeon in the Register of Dental Specialists maintained by the Dental Council of Ireland.
Candidate selection will take into consideration the breadth and depth of relevant experience.
Applicants from the European Union ("EU Students") must:
Have a primary Dental degree, which can be registered with the Irish Dental Council
Have a minimum of two years postgraduate experience in Dentistry in a range of clinical and educational settings;
Possess MFDS/MFD or equivalent.
Applicants not resident in the European Union ("Non-EU Students") must:
Have a primary Dental degree, which can be registered with the Irish Dental Council
Have a minimum of two years postgraduate experience in Dentistry in a range of clinical and educational settings.
Possess MFDS/MFD or equivalent
Satisfy criteria for English language requirements, as set out by the University in the University Calendar.
Please note: Students on this programme will be unsalaried and will be required to pay full programme fees (including bench fees).
