COVID-19 is still present in our community and can cause serious illness. At Cork Dental School & Hospital we are continuing to do all we can to avoid transmission of COVID-19 during your visit. Please help us in the following ways -

Do not attend the hospital if you have COVID-19, or any symptoms that could be COVID-19.
If you have a condition that makes COVID-19 infection a particular risk for you, please make sure that you tell this to the dentist who is responsible for your care. We are very grateful for your co-operation.

Dr Martina Hayes awarded the HRB Research Fellowship for Health Care Professionals 2012

Congratulations to Dr Martina Hayes who has been awarded the HRB Research Fellowship for Health Care Professionals 2012. Martina is the first dentist who has been awarded this prestigious Fellowship.

This Award will support research into the innovative management of root caries in the older population. This will form the basis of her doctoral research supervised by Professor Finbarr Allen and Dr Frank Burke.
