Objective
The aim of this international conference is to provide a forum for the discussion of recent developments in the law and policy of youth justice in Ireland and internationally. It will identify recent trends in youth justice, and anticipate future challenges in the area.
Programme
The conference programme comprises International and Irish speakers combining academics and practitioners, all leaders in their fields, in the areas of youth justice, detention, policing, diversion and restorative justice.

Irish speakers will include representatives from among solicitors, Gardaí, judges, members of the NGO sector who work with young people all of whom are directly involved in the development and implementation of youth justice in Ireland.
Submission of Abstracts
Abstracts for contributions from all disciplines and jurisdictions are invited on a range of issues including Diversion, Detention, the Trial of Young People and Policing. Closing date for submission of abstracts is 31st December 2007.
