Children’s Rights Audit of Law and Practice in Ireland
Dr Ursula Kilkelly was awarded funding by the office of the Ombudsman for Children to undertake a comprehensive children’s rights audit of Irish law and practice. Covering all areas of the child’s life – family, education and health – paying specific attention to vulnerable groups and to the child’s right to be heard, the research will identify the action required to effectively protect and promote the rights of children.
