The UCC Global Research Scholar Scheme (GRSS) is open to research students registered for PhDs at non-EU partner institutions of UCC

The UCC Global Research Scholar Scheme (GRSS) is open to research students registered for PhDs at non-EU partner institutions of UCC. Applicants must meet the following eligibility criteria:

• have completed at least one year of their PhD studies by the time their proposed visit to UCC commences;
• meet the language requirements for PhD study within the relevant College at UCC;
• have identified and agreed supervisory arrangements at UCC for the period of their stay;
• have submitted to and had approved by a UCC supervisor a clear programme of research for their visit to UCC;
• have submitted at least one supporting reference from their existing supervisor(s) at their home institution.
