Cell Explorers and WiSTEM UCC

As part of on-campus activities to promote diversity, inclusion and WiSTEM opportunities, Dr Eoin Fleming (Schools of Biochemistry and Cell Biology/ Pharmacy) was joined by Dr Collette Hand  (Department of Pathology) and students from the Colleges of SEFS and Medicine and Health, in delivering the FANTASTIC DNA workshop to primary school students from North Presentation and Togher Girls National Schools. During the workshops the children got to experience the fun of doing hands-on experiments and learnt about the huge variety of careers you can have in the Life and Health Sciences.
