Above: BComm 1985 held their 40th anniversary reunion in October. To honour the occasion, the class generously came together to establish “The BComm 1985 Bursary – In appreciation of Kieran Nestor” to support Access students while at university. The bursary was organised to thank their classmate Kieran for his decades of work organising multiple class reunions and keeping the class connected since graduation.

Since September, UCC alumni have come together to celebrate their class reunions, and their generosity has been remarkable. Through class gifts, reunions have raised an impressive €22,962, supporting initiatives that make a real difference for students and society.

Reunions for Elec Eng 1985, Medicine 2005, BComm 1985, BComm 1990, BCL 1990, Medicine 2015, BE 1975 and BCL 1985 all contributed to this success. These gifts are funding three strategic areas:

The UCC Alumni Fund – enhancing the student experience through scholarships, clubs, and campus life.
Cancer Research @ UCC – advancing research to improve outcomes for cancer patients and their families.
INFANT @ UCC – driving innovation in pregnancy, birth, and early childhood health.

Every reunion is an opportunity to reconnect, reminisce, and give back in ways that shape the future.
