ABBVIE Award for Excellence in Engineering 2018
This award was presented by Mairead Dunne, Site Manager, AbbVie
On January 1, 2013, AbbVie was founded as a global biopharmaceutical company with focus and capabilities to address some of the world’s greatest health challenges. AbbVie operate across over 170 countries with 29,000 employees globally. AbbVie operate five sites in Ireland with the Cork plant producing medicines for HIV (Kaletra), Hepatitis C (Viekira & Maviret) and the cholesterol reducing drug (Tricor).
Presented to the student with the best aggregate marks in two Third year modules and two Final year modules, as selected by AbbVie:
