MSc/PhD by Research
PhD and Research Masters Programmes
The Department of Process & Chemical Engineering offers a full range of research opportunities through the School of Engineering, ranging from 1 year MEngSc to 3 year PhD (minimum durations). These programmes offer exciting research possibilities to graduates of Engineering and Science. Research opportunities lie in the broad areas of interest to the discipline, namely food, pharma & biopharmaceutical and societal wellbeing. These areas reflect disciplinary process industry and societal imperatives, both locally and nationally/globally, while many projects have been carried out by postgraduate students working for, or in close cooperation with, industrial partners.
Please browse the Research area of this site, where you can get more information on the current areas of activities, and then contact directly a member of the academic staff in any area that might interest you.
