Chief Financial and Operating Officer
Mr Rory Condon, Chief Financial and Operating Officer
Mr. Rory Condon was appointed as Chief Financial and Operating Officer in December 2023.
Rory has 25 years senior finance and executive leadership experience, with 12 years in Group CFO, CEO and board level roles in technology, telecommunications, life sciences and aviation. He has worked in diverse business cultures in Europe, South-East Asia, South-Pacific and the Middle East. He has a passion for transforming and professionalising finance functions. He places an emphasis on culture, people development, process improvement, and the role of digital transformation and AI. Rory holds a Masters in Aerospace Engineering (M.Eng, University of Manchester, 1997) and is a member of the Institution of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales (ICAEW, 2001).
Rory’s career began with Arthur Andersen in London in Audit & Management Consulting. This led to a 10-year career with Vodafone, where he held financial strategy, planning and transformation roles. After Vodafone, he moved to the South Pacific, where he spent 5 years as both CFO and CEO of Digicel’s operations in Samoa & Tonga. He drove the commercial, finance, legal and regulatory strategy. He led the commercial 4G launch and acquisitions to diversify the business into ICT, digital TV and hotel investments.
Rory spent time with a Fintech startup in South East Asia, and subsequently as CFO for a Middle East based private equity firm. In 2019 he returned to Ireland, as CFO for SMEs in both aviation and life-science multi-nationals scaling up the finance functions to deliver on their growth strategies.
