National Perinatal Epidemiology Centre Study Day 2015
The National Perinatal Epidemiology Centre (NPEC) recently hosted its annual Study Day in the Radisson Blu Hotel, Dublin 8.
The day was divided into two distinct sessions of different themes, the morning session focussing on The Robson 10 Groups: Much More Than an Audit of Caesarean Sections? and the afternoon session on Lessons Learnt from the UK and Ireland Confidential Enquiries into Maternal Deaths 2009 – 2012.
The event was particularly well attended this year attracting 220 multidisciplinary delegates from across the country and generated very positive feedback. Six CPD credits were awarded by the Royal College of Physicians Ireland and five by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland for full-day attendance.
