Visitors from UNIC universities Erasmus University Rotterdam, Malmö University and Ruhr University Bochum formed part of a 250-strong delegation of attendees at the European University Association (EUA) Learning and Teaching Forum 2025, hosted by University College Cork on February 27th and 28th.

UNIC Student Representatives, Maddalena and Ella, co-hosted a Café Lingua session in the Students’ Union Common Room on February 12th.

The Migration Research Center at Koç University (MiReKoc) will host the MiReKoc UNIC International Summer School 2025 entitled “Beyond Borders: Health, Migration, and Diversity in an Interconnected World”, taking place during 14th to 25th July 2025 in Istanbul.

University College Cork students can sign up to a series of 'open online courses' made available by the University of Lodz, Poland (a UNIC partner). Please note that these courses will be for interest only and credits cannot be applied to UCC degrees.

UCC will host an Erasmus+ staff training week on May 26^th to 28^th 2025, aimed at university staff with responsibility for student career success and employability. 

How can students, communities and city organisations work together to respond to city challenges?  RePIC master’s students (Redesigning the Post-Industrial City MSc, co-delivered by eight UNIC university partners) explored this question during the UNIC CityLabs Week from 6th to 10th January. 

The Reimagining of Urban Spaces: A Journey Through Post-Industrial Cityscapes was published by Springer on 20 December 2024. This book explores the future of cities and regions in a post-industrial world.
