His distinguished career included roles as Director of European Operations at Apple Computers, President of Cork Chamber, Chairman of the Cork Airport Authority, and Governor of UCC.

To celebrate his contributions to Cork’s business community and to UCC, Cork Chamber has generously donated €1,500 per annum to support the Joe Gantly Prize in Engineering.
Many thanks again to Naoimh Frawley who sat on the judging panel and represented Cork Chamber again at this year’s presentations.
