2022 ISTRUCTE Prize Awarded to Civil Engineering Student

Former UCC Civil Engineering Student, David Wallace, has been awarded the Institute of Structural Engineers Prize for Best Final Year Project/Dissertation across all third level institutions in Ireland in the area of structural engineering. Dr Páraic Ryan, Senior Lecturer of Civil, Structural & Enviromental Engineering,  supervised the 2020/21 ME thesis which was entitled Modelling the Impact of Climate Change on a Novel Irish Concrete Bridge.
