J&J Winning in STEM²D Awards

J&J Innovative Medicine’s revamped Winning in STEM2D focuses on developing leadership and soft skills for the STEM talent pipeline. It aims to nurture leadership, build confidence, soft skills and a network for future development and advancement for the STEM talent pipeline.
This programme is open to all undergraduate students of STEM subjects entering their 2nd, 3rd or 4th year of studies in 2025/26.
The Johnson & Johnson Winning in STEM2D University Programme aims to fuel development of STEM2D talent pipeline by supporting students at critical points in their careers in STEM2D disciplines. J&J’s Winning in STEM2D Scholarship programme for the 2025/26 academic year includes mentoring, bursaries, site tours, and STEMFest.
Ten awards will be presented to STEM students to support their studies in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Manufacturing and Design Subjects (STEM2D).
Successful candidates will receive:
- Bursary award
- J&J industry mentor
- Site tours (J&H Innovative Medicines Ringaskiddy and J&J MedTech)
- Early career and development workshop.
Eligibility:
UCC students of STEM2D Subjects entering 2nd, 3rd and 4th year of their studies in the academic year 2025/26 are eligible to apply.

Application is open to all students who meet the eligibility criteria. Applicants previously in receipt of a WiSTEM2D bursary in previous years are not eligible to apply.
