At a recent meeting in NUI Galway, contract researcher associations from seven Irish third level institutes came together to form StRIKE, Supporting Researchers in Irelands Knowledge-based Economy. 

At a recent meeting in NUI Galway, contract researcher associations from seven Irish third level institutes came together to form StRIKE, Supporting Researchers in Irelands Knowledge-based Economy.  UCC was represented by ARCS.  StRIKE will allow the individual associations to have a collective voice, and it aims to promote the interests of all Irish contract researchers at a National level.
