Upcoming Regulatory Science Symposium to attract more than 70 experts from Industry, Academia and Regulatory Bodies from all over Europe

The School of Pharmacy of the University College Cork and the PEARRL EU training network jointly organised the first Regulatory Science Symposium of this kind – a unique opportunity to discuss regulatory support of innovation in Europe`s pharmaceutical industry. 

The exciting programme includes presentations from experts of all three sectors on the following hot topics:

  • Regulatory pathways adapting to innovation
  • Strategies of regulatory bodies to enhance support for the development of medicines
  • Innovation in clinical trials and drug manufacture

This high profile one-day event is taking place in the School of Pharmacy, UCC, Cork, Ireland on the 21st June 2017.

More than 70 participants, including representatives from HPRA Ireland, MHRA UK, BfArM Germany and EMA Europe as well as of academic and business leaders, are committed to strengthen knowledge transfer and facilitate easier and faster development of new medicines. This collaboration will continue in the EU funded PEARRL project over the next three years, helping to pave the future for scientific and commercial drug development in Europe and beyond.
