As part of our mission to enhance the international appeal of our degree programme, the School of Pharmacy collaborates with the Bill Gatton College of Pharmacy, East Tennessee State University.

We have been delighted to welcome Meagan and Stephanie who were part of this programme from Feb to March 2017. During this time, they had the opportunity to visit community pharmacies; Pharmacy First Plus (Douglas and Glanmire)  and O’Shea’s Pharmacy (Blackpool) and also hospital pharmacies including the South Infirmary Victoria University Hospital, Cork University Hospital and Mercy University Hospital (MUH). During their visit to the MUH they took part in the Interprofessional Educational session with pharmacy and medical students facilitated by Dr A Fleming, Ms E Barron and Dr A Joy.
