School of Pharmacy, UCC Celebrates Industry-Based MSc (Research) Graduates

Congratulations to Chloe Frewen and Emma Walsh, who both graduated with an MSc. Research at University College Cork last Friday. 

Both students completed their MSc.(Research) theses based in industrial settings; Emma at Sanofi, Waterford and Chloe at Theradep, Clonmel.

Emma's project, Formulation, characterisation and lyophilisation of mRNA loaded lipid nanoparticles, was supervised by Dr. Sonja Vucen and Prof. Caitriona O'Driscoll, funded by Sanofi, and supported by Mr. Bryan Rellis, Sanofi.

Chloe's project, The Study of a Drug Coating Applied Using a Cold Atmospheric Plasma: Everolimus Coating Properties, was supervised by Prof. Abina Crean and Dr. Katie Ryan, School of Pharmacy, and Dr. Liam O Neill, TheraDep, co-funded by Theradep and SSPC Research Ireland Centre for Pharmaceuticals, and supported by Fiona O'Neill, Theradep.
