School of Pharmacy, UCC Celebrates First InPharma PhD Graduate
It was a proud moment for the School of Pharmacy on 31st October 2025, as Lotte Ejskjær was awarded her PhD degree at the College of Medicine and Health Conferring Ceremony.
Lotte made history as the first UCC graduate from the EU-funded InPharma Project, an exciting milestone for both her and the School. Her thesis, titled “Advancing in vitro and computational pharmaceutics tools for guiding lipid-based formulation design,” explored innovative ways to combine experimental and computational approaches to improve medicine design.
Her work was supervised by Prof Brendan Griffin and Dr Patrick O’Dwyer. A huge congratulations to Dr. Ejskjær on this fantastic achievement and look forward to seeing her future contributions to advancing healthcare and improving patient outcomes.
