School of Pharmacy Student Receives Dr Henry Hutchinson Stewart Medical Prize at 2025 NUI Awards
The School of Pharmacy is delighted to congratulate MPharm student Olga Andriyashchenko, who received a Dr Henry Hutchinson Stewart Medical Prize at the National University of Ireland Awards Ceremony held on 2 December 2025 in the RDS, Dublin.
These prizes recognise the highest-performing students in each discipline across participating NUI institutions, with nominees put forward by their Faculty, School or Department. Olga received this distinction for achieving the top overall marks in the Bachelor of Pharmacy degree at UCC.
The ceremony celebrated more than 175 scholars from across the NUI federation, awarding over €850,000 in grants, scholarships and prizes that highlight excellence throughout academic life.
Congratulations also to Dr Florence McCarthy of the School of Chemistry, a valued contributor to the Pharmacy programme, who received the French Excellence–NUI Research Residency Grant at the event.
