School of Pharmacy Steadies the Wobble

Wobble Week Events

The School of Pharmacy recently held its annual Wobble Week - a week of activities, held mid-semester, to acknowledge that academic life can be challenging and that it's perfectly normal to feel a little off-balance sometimes. Through a series of engaging events, workshops, and wellness activities, the initiative helps students find their footing and support one another.

A highlight from this year’s initiative was a dedicated Wobble Workshop focused on Exploring Neurodivergence in Higher Education.  This workshop was co-created and co-delivered by colleagues in the Schools of Applied Psychology and Applied Social Studies. It sought to foster empathy and understanding of what it entails to be neurodivergent amongst presumed neurotypical cohorts. The workshop was very well received by the staff and students who attended.

The Student Experience Committee in the School of Pharmacy hopes to continue to grow the initiative year on year, so that it will become a lasting tradition—one that helps students feel seen, supported, and empowered.
