Pharmacy Society Hosts Annual Pharm Cup 2025 Tournament

The Pharmacy Society (PharmSoc) hosted the annual Pharm Cup 2025 on 6 October at LeisureWorld Bishopstown, bringing together students from across the School of Pharmacy for an exciting evening of competition and camaraderie.
This year’s tournament featured eight teams, representing students from BPharm 1 through to Postgraduate level, who competed across two groups in a lively and good-spirited contest.
In a first for the Pharm Cup, the introduction of the Shield Finals gave every team the opportunity to compete for silverware. The third- and fourth-placed teams from each group battled it out for the Pharm Shield, while the top two teams progressed to the Pharm Cup semi-finals and, ultimately, the Grand Final.
After an impressive performance, Pharmageddon FC (BPharm 2) emerged victorious in the Shield Final, claiming the inaugural title.
The Pharm Cup Grand Final saw a thrilling third-year derby, where reigning champions Glendale Rovers (BPharm 3) successfully retained their title with a hard-fought 2–1 victory, securing back-to-back Pharm Cup triumphs in dramatic style.
The evening was a fantastic celebration of teamwork, sportsmanship, and School spirit. Congratulations to all who took part!
