Lunchtime Seminar: 'Multimodal pharmacovigilance of COVID-19 vaccines' Professor Ian CK Wong, University of Hong Kong Monday 14th August, 13:00 – 14:00, LG01 Pharmacy Building
Join us for an enlightening session with Prof Ian Wong on "Multimodal Pharmacovigilance of COVID-19 Vaccines."
Prof Wong, from the Department of Pharmacology and Pharmacy at the University of Hong Kong, will discuss the "COVID-19 Vaccine Response and Evaluation (CARE) programme" funded by the Hong Kong Government. Learn how real-world data and electronic medical records are harnessed to develop a comprehensive pharmacovigilance system, and explore case studies such as Bell’s palsy following CoronaVac vaccination and carditis following BNT162b2 vaccination in children. Gain insights into policy development and scientific dissemination from a distinguished researcher with over 600 publications.
