Fifth-Year Students Gain Key Insights on Sepsis from HSE Expert Lorna Quigley
We were delighted to welcome Ms Lorna Quigley, Programme Manager, HSE National Clinical Infectious Disease Programme to speak to our fifth-year students about sepsis.
The session, delivered on 15 October 2025 as part of module PF6422, discussed the epidemiology of sepsis, screening tools and sepsis management. It also highlighted the importance of early recognition of sepsis and patient awareness and the important role that pharmacists can play in the recognition, management and prevention of sepsis.
Sincere thanks to Lorna.
