ArrayPatch team announced as winner of the 2023 IDEATE Ireland business competition
Congratulations to Dr Waleed Faisal and his team, winners of the 2023 IDEATE Ireland business competition and recipient of the €15K prize money.
On Tuesday, 20 June, at the Guinness Enterprise Centre, the winners of the 2023 IDEATE Ireland business competition were announced. We are delighted that ArrayPatch - University College Cork is the winner of this year competition.
The business plan competition is committed to enhancing cooperation, connection and mutual understanding on the island of Ireland, engaging with all communities and traditions around a shared passion for entrepreneurship and new venture development. It's fantastic to see one of the school research teams awarded such a prestigious award to transform commercially relevant research into investable high potential start-ups. This is a strong example of the research happening here in the School of Pharmacy: exciting developments in disruptive technologies resulting in a positive, global impact.
