A Night Out at the Farm for the School of Pharmacy!

Rochestown Park Hotel was transformed on 20 February, as we took to the dance floor to celebrate the annual FARMacy Ball. 

The following report was submitted by the Pharmacy Society (PharmSoc), organisers of the Pharmacy Ball 2026.

A great night was had by all, as we were first welcomed with a lovely drinks reception outside the newly refurbished Kiltegan Suite, followed by a fabulous 3-course meal, and finishing off the night with music from the ladies of Out of Order!

Of course the highlight of everyone's evening was the Pharmacy Awards, which celebrated individuals from across the entire School. A special mention to Dr. Edel Burton who won Faculty Member of the Year, and Sarah Cooper (MPharm) for winning the Athena Swan EDI award. 

The Pharmacy Ball 2026 was not just a celebration of the year's hard work but also a reminder of the strong sense of community within the School of Pharmacy.  A longstanding highlight of the academic calendar, the event offers a valuable opportunity for students across all years to connect and catch up, while also bringing together students and faculty for an evening of laughter and relaxation.
