Irish Planning Institute
The M.Plan course has the status of full professional accreditation from the Irish Planning Institute (IPI), the long established professional body which represents the majority of practising town planners in Ireland. Graduates of IPI accredited courses, once they have gained suitable practical experience, can expect to achieve corporate membership and use the designatory letters MIPI.
The IPI is a member association of the European Council of Town Planners ECTP.
The IPI also accredits planning courses at University College Dublin and Dublin Institute of Technology.
