Applications invited for a Postdoctoral Fellowship, Computer Science Department. Position Filled.
Applications are invited for post-doctoral position in the Mobile & Internet Systems Lab, Department of Computer Science, University College Cork. The position will be co-funded by IRCSET and United Technologies Research Centre (UTRC) , an internationally recognized corporate research organization of United Technologies Corporation (UTC) that conducts research and development across a range of technology areas to drive its mission of “growth through innovation”.

Description of the Project:
The Mobile & Internet Systems Lab, Department of Computer Science at University College Cork (UCC) is offering a position of a postdoctoral fellow in the domain Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) middleware. The work will be focused on the development of middleware services facilitating development, maintenance, deployment and execution of applications on large scale WSNs.
Requirements of the candidate:
The successful candidate should have a proven track record in one or more of the following areas: WSN middleware, code dissemination, topology self-adaptation, implementation of WSN protocols and should demonstrate capacity for independent research. A high-quality publication record in the related field is expected.
