Dublin FaME Co Design: Turning Knowledge into Action

The FaME Ireland team hosted a second co-design event in Dublin on Monday 26th May 2025, and we were delighted to welcome a range of colleagues from across the HSE and partner organisations, all with an interest in enhancing the reach, effectiveness and sustainability of physical activity services and falls management services in the Dublin North City and West area.
The groups of delegates on the day covered topics around access, awareness and engagement, partnerships and sustainability, and had a chance to network with colleagues working in the area of physical activity and falls management.
The full programme covered:
Access to the programme – How do the right people get into the FaME programme, and how do we raise awareness with healthcare professionals?
Awareness raising and ongoing engagement – Maintaining participant engagement and fostering behavioural change.
Keeping people active after FaME – Making links and keeping participants active and socially connected post-programme.
Ensuring long-term viability of FaME – Securing and sustaining the valuable workforce and longer term funding streams to maintain the programme.
