FaME IMPLEMENTATION TOOLKIT - A 'HOW TO' GUIDE WITH RESEARCH FINDINGS, RESOURCES AND GOOD PRACTICE INFORMATION FOR IRELAND

As part of the FaME Ireland research project, a suite of resources and tools have been collated for anyone interested in extending the provision of FaME in Ireland, providing more information on physical activity and falls prevention, the evidence base for FaME exercise intervention, and practical help on how to develop, design and deliver FaME classes with supporting information based on the Irish healthcare/public health landscape.  This Irish toolkit was developed as part of the FaME Ireland research project (2024-2026) and pulls together resources and guidance developed across the participating sites and clinicians involved in the planning and delivery of FaME classes across Ireland, as well as learning points gathered from the research findings.  You can use the side menu on the left or the buttons below to navigate through the resources and links.

For access to the full UK based FaME Implementation Toolkit you can register for free at: https://fametoolkit.org.uk/ This toolkit includes a comprehensive set of resources such as business case templates, service specifications, promotional materials and guidance based on the latest research and real-world experiences and is prepared for the UK/NHS. It is designed to be flexible, allowing local adaptation, and will be regularly updated by the Later Life Training team and NHS colleagues.
