Representing the School of Clinical Therapies at the COMH Research Conference
On 2 September, members of the School of Clinical Therapies were delighted to contribute to the College of Medicine and Health Research Conference, Advancing Health: Translating Discovery to Care.
Pictured here, Ciara Hanrahan presented her PhD research, "Physical activity behaviour in people with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease: a qualitative study", as part of one of the conference's Elevator Pitch sessions.
Aidan O' Shea also showcased his research, presenting "Recommendations for facilitating engagement with a self-managed exercise programme for people with shoulder pain: A nominal group technique with key stakeholders" in the Latest Advances session. In addition, he presented a poster entitled "Factors influencing a physiotherapist's approach to the management of a person with shoulder pain: a focus group study".
The School would like to thank the College of Medicine and Health for organising an excellent research conference and providing academics, researchers and professional staff from across the College with the opportunity to exchange knowledge, share expertise, and foster interdisciplinary collaboration in support of advancing healthcare research and practice.
