ISCP Annual Conference held in Dun Laoghaire on 8th and 9th November 2019

The ISCP is the professional body for over 3,300 physiotherapists living in Ireland. This year’s ISCP Annual Conference took place in Dun Laoghaire from 8th-9th November 2019. The conference programme featured national and international speakers, with vibrant talks centred around 3 key themes:

Actioning Slainte Care;

Advancing and Evolving Physiotherapy Practice;

Technology’s influence on Physiotherapy.

Three students from the Masters in Older Person Rehabilitation presented their research projects at the conference, one of which went on to be awarded the Poster Research Presentation Prize: ‘How can an exercise programme meet the needs of people with neurological conditions?’ Emer O’Neill, Mary J. Foley, Suzanne Timmons.
