Funded PhD opportunity

Research Ireland PhD scholarship – RCSI are advertising a fully funded, four‑year PhD due to start in September entitled “Empowering Voices, Enhancing Outcomes: Co‑creating an Open‑Source Health‑Economic Model for Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia in Ireland”.
This Research Ireland scholarship will offer a €25k annual stipend, full fee coverage, and a budget for training, conferences, consumables and international placements.
The PhD would suit a quantitatively minded researcher (health economics, statistics, public health, or another health-related discipline) who wants to work with people living with dementia and carers to build a model that will shape national policy. The primary supervisor on this project is Dr Jonathan Briody (RCSI) and it will be co-supervised by Dr Emma O Shea, Centre for Gerontology and Rehabilitation (UCC).
