Dr. Siobhán Fox contributes to Palliative Care Research Network Symposium (December 2023)

The 12th Palliative Care Research Network (PCRN) Symposium took place on Thursday 7th December at the Ashling Hotel in Dublin, hosted by the All Ireland Association for Hospice and Palliative Care. This year’s event focussed on ‘Implementation of Research for Evidence-Based Practice’.

A Special Interest Group (SIG) in Dementia Palliative Care was launched during the event. This Special Interest Group is chaired by Dr Siobhán Fox, Lecturer in the CGR. Expressions of interest for group membership can be made at the following link.

Dr Siobhán Fox also presented research from the Model for Dementia Palliative Care Project during the Symposium. She delivered an oral presentation on “A Comparison of Four Dementia Palliative Care Services using the RE-AIM Framework”. She also presented a poster entitled “What are the views of people with dementia and family carers on an Irish model for dementia palliative care?”.
