Dr. Catriona Curtin participates in COMH Learning and Teaching Showcase

24 Jun 2024

Dr. Catriona Curtin recently participated in the College of Medicine and Health Learning and Teaching Showcase, University College Cork.

Catriona presented a poster relating to an Erasmus+ co-funded 'Climate change and Healthy AgeinG:co-creating E-learning for resilience and adaptation' (chAnGE) project, on behalf of the chAnGE consortium. Professor Suzanne Timmons with the Centre for Gerontology and Rehabilitation, UCC, is the lead partner of the chAnGE project within UCC.

The chAnGE project is comprised of an alliance of universities, vocational education and training providers, and health & social care organisations, across Ireland, Portugal, Finland, Austria & Greece. Together the chAnGE partners are co-creating a suite of online micro credentials for health and social care workers who deliver care to older people. The chAnGE alliance seeks to enable and empower health and social care workers to plan and incorporate climate adaptation and resilience into their everyday work.
