The Dept Of Food & Nutritional Sciences, UCC are delighted to invite you to join in celebrating 100 years of excellence and impact in teaching, training and research within the School of Food and Nutritional Sciences at University College Cork. From ambitious beginnings in 1926, the Faculty of Dairy Science at UCC expanded and evolved considerably over the following decades, with the original core of the Faculty now embodied mainly in the modern-day School of Food and Nutritional Sciences. Our School leads and co-ordinates all teaching and research in food science, nutritional sciences, dietetics and dairy science to undergraduate and postgraduate students, in addition to a wide range of life-long learning offerings through the UCC Food Industry Training Unit.

This event on Friday 4th December will provide you with an opportunity to reconnect with School staff (current and retired), graduates, alumni, collaborators, colleagues, stakeholders and relevant agencies, through a series of talks, networking sessions, lunch and drinks reception. An emphasis will be placed on showcasing the excellence and impact of our interdisciplinary research at the multiple interfaces between the School of Food and Nutritional Sciences, other academic units and research centres across the University and key collaborators globally.
