Class Reunions

This Autumn, classes are celebrating big anniversaries. October alone includes a 40-year reunion for BE (Electrical and Electronic Engineering) 1986; 20, 30 and 40-year reunions for Medicine classes 2006, 1996 and 1986; and 30 and 40-year reunions for BDS 1996 and 1986.

Recent Reunions

In September, the School of Biological, Earth and Environmental Sciences (BEES) held a reunion for all class years, bringing together past graduates with former and current staff from across Zoology, Ecology, Plant Science, Geology, Agricultural Science and Environmental Science. The evening included a showcase of some of the research currently taking place in BEES, before heading to Cork Cricket Club for a reception. Missed this event? 1966 saw England win the World Cup, The Beach Boys release their landmark album Pet Sounds and 57 commerce students graduate from UCC, who 60 years later, returned to campus to celebrate their BComm 1966 reunion. View Photo

In August, the BE (Electrical and Electronic) 2006 and BE (Micro-electronic Engineering) 2006 celebrated their 20^th anniversary reunion with classmates travelling from the US, the UK, France, Spain, Belfast and from all over Ireland. View Photo

In June, the BComm 1974 class got together for their annual reunion. Since celebrating 50 years since their graduation in 2024, the group vowed to meet on a yearly basis, and so the tradition continues. View Photo

Class Callouts!

• BA 1986 (Evening Degree): your classmate is hoping to organise a reunion to celebrate 40 years since graduation. Spread the word and update your contact details to make sure you hear about any upcoming plans and activity for your group.
• BSc (Food Science & Technology) 2001 and BSc (Nutritional Sciences) 2001: your 25-year reunion is taking place on Saturday, 14 November 2026. Help us reach your classmates who we may no longer have contact details for. Spread the word - registration will open soon at this link.
