Dear Incoming CAO Students!
The Accommodation and Community Life Office’s were thrilled to hold our annual online Webinar Information session for 26/27.
The webinar included speakers from The Accommodation and Community Life Office, UCC Campus Accommodation and representatives from many of the Privately Owned Student Complexes.
The session covered the following topics and would be of interest to prospective students/parents/guardians/guidance counsellors and any other interested parties.
- Campus Accommodation options, prices, and application process.
- Private Student Apartment Complexes options, prices, and application process.
- Other accommodation options outside of student-specific apartment complexes.

This information session, hosted by the Accommodation & Community Life Office, was designed specifically for incoming students. We strongly recommend watching this webinar, as it provides essential guidance on securing accommodation, including:
- Campus Accommodation: Campus Accommodation runs their applications via a Lottery based system which is now closed.Please note our office does not manage or control the UCC Campus Accommodation Lottery, as this is managed by Campus Accommodation directly.
- Private Student Apartment Complexes: An overview of options, pricing, and application procedures.
- Alternative Accommodation Options: Exploring non-student-specific housing, including private rentals, house shares, and homestay options.
- Other accommodation options outside of student specific apartment complexes, such as StudentPad

Postgraduate Accommodation Webinar & Q&A – April 2025 For incoming 2025/26 postgraduate students
Planning your move to Cork for postgraduate study? We’ve got you covered. Watch our Postgraduate Accommodation Information Session, hosted by Kate Moriarty, Accommodation & Community Life Officer, and Ruth O'Mahony, International Student Support Officer at University College Cork.
The first webinar (recorded on 1st April 2025) provides an overview of accommodation options for postgraduate students, including university residences, private rentals, application timelines, and practical tips for your move.
In the follow-up Q&A session (recorded on 9th April 2025), Kate and Ruth answer the most frequently asked questions from incoming students, covering everything from budgeting and location to support services and settling in.
