Gearóid Dillane has been announced as the 2023 winner of the Musgrave Award for Excellence in Food Microbiology. The award, which recognises excellence in the MSc Food Microbiology course at the School of Microbiology in UCC, has been in place for the last ten years with the aim of recognising and awarding emerging talented food microbiologists.
