The new open access computer lab in the Boole Basement will be open on Friday 6th October.
Some students may see a ‘Forbidden’ message when attempting to log onto Umail, Blackboard, Smartcard, and other services that use Edugate for authentication
In an exciting new student focused project brought to you by IT Services and the Library in collaboration with Disability Support Service, the Students Union and LAPSAFE. We are delighted to announce that the automated self-check (LAPSAFE) locker system is now up and running on the ground floor of the UCC Library.
Publish is a new, online tool which allows students to quickly and easily create their own personalised academic timetable.
AVMS and IT Services, in close partnership with Buildings and Estates, have started a process of upgrading most of the central room teaching facilities in all areas across campus over the next three years. Each teaching area will see new technologies, improved Wi-Fi and better connectivity to provide a better user experience for students and teaching staff.
Due to an essential upgrade of our student administration system, MyStudentAdmin will be unavailable between 4pm on Thursday 12th February and 10am on Tuesday 16th February 2016.

Umail is currently experiencing a login issue, when attempting to login to Umail the following error appears:
"Google Apps - This account cannot be accessed because we could not parse the login request."
We are currently investigating the cause of this issue and working towards a resolution.
As part of our annual maintenance, UCC Blackboard will be offline from 19:30 on Friday the 10th of July until approximately 07:30 Saturday morning, July 11th.

Supplementary Student Training Sessions will take place in the Boole Basement Computer Room 5 on Wednesday 1st October to Friday 10th October. The training sessions will include:
The Student IT Labs will remain closed for the duration of the weekend, re-opening on Monday 20th July.
With the introduction of the Smartcard Service on June 9th there will be changes to how you pay for Student IT Printing and how you release your print jobs in the Student IT Centres and Libraries. Due to these changes there will be some areas with reduced or no printing service.
There will be a brief loss of Internet connectivity Campus-Wide on Wed 26-03-2014.
Due to an unexpected issue the Boole Basement IT Centre is closed until we can resolve this problem. In the meantime please use our other IT Centres on ther 3rd Floor Kane Building, Block A 4th Floor Food Science Building and Pres Connolly Building.
Due to a burst pipe in the Boole Basement the Boole Basement Student IT Centre was closed on the evening of Monday 17th February. Boole Computer Rooms 1 and 2 have re-opened on Tuesday 18th February but Computer Rooms 3, 4 and 5 will remain closed for the next week while repair work is carried out.
