Pregnancy Loss Research Group at the Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine Annual Pregnancy Meeting 2023 in San Francisco

Members of the Pregnancy Loss Research Group attended the 43rd Annual Pregnancy Meeting of the Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine in San Francisco, California from 6-11 February 2023.

Professor Keelin O’Donoghue, Dr Laura Linehan, Dr Hadas Miremberg, and Caroline O’Connor presented several posters, sharing the latest research from the Group.

In advance of the conference, Laura and Hadas attended the Cardio Obstetrics course, while Caroline participated in the "Evidence-Based Management of Twin Pregnancies" course. Laura and Hadas also attended a scientific forum on preterm birth. Keelin attended the Postgraduate courses "Fetal therapy: controversies and updates" and "Needleworks: a hands on workshop for ultrasound. Guided needle procedures", as well as scientific fora on healthcare disparity and health equity, and comprehensive reproductive health.

There were lots of networking opportunities for the Group, particularly with other organisations working in pregnancy loss, miscarriage, multiple pregnancy and termination of pregnancy as well as with specialists working in maternal-fetal medicine.
