Join our team! Currently recruiting a Postdoctoral Researcher – Knowledge Broker

We are currently inviting applications for a Postdoctoral Researcher – Knowledge Broker to support knowledge translation for academic research projects and community-based activities across women’s health services in Ireland, under the aegis of the National Women and Infants Health Programme (NWIHP). This is a two-year, full-time position.

The Postdoctoral Researcher will be responsible for the creation of a knowledge exchange platform within the NWIHP that connects the health services, service providers and service users with each other. They will:

  • Conduct literature searches, review, and summarise relevant literature
  • Develop and deliver tailored knowledge products such as information booklets and related resources, evidence briefs, infographics, and webinars
  • Write and develop online content; facilitate knowledge sharing and dissemination
  • Write progress reports of service and guideline implementation activities and other hospital and community-based activities occurring across all publicly-funded maternity services in the Republic of Ireland.

The Postdoctoral Researcher will be based in the Pregnancy Loss Research Group (PLRG) at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Cork University Maternity Hospital and INFANT Centre, UCC.

They will report to Professor Keelin O’Donoghue, Lead, Pregnancy Loss Research Group and Clinical Lead for Guideline Development in Maternity and Gynaecology, and for Implementation of the National Standards for Bereavement Care following Pregnancy Loss and Perinatal Death at the NWIHP.

Salary: €44,347-€50,805.
