Viva Success for John Downey on Protein Adsorption Research

Congratulations to John Downey for defending his thesis with flying colours on Thursday, 9th January 2025.

John’s research provided new insights into how the adsorption of protein to pharmaceutical packaging material can impact its stability and strategies to mitigate these effects. His research, supervised by Dr Katie Ryan and Prof Abina Crean, supports the design of protein therapeutics and innovative pharmaceutical packaging that enhance the provision of high quality protein therapeutics to treat disease.
