UCC and Bruker host webinar on “Emerging NMR Solutions for the Pharmaceutical Industry"
On Wednesday November 24th 2021 UCC and Bruker jointly hosted a webinar on “Emerging NMR Solutions for the Pharmaceutical Industry".
Solutions and workflows for the development and manufacture of biopharmaceutical drugs were presented. Dr Lorraine Bateman, UCC, gave an overview of how the ABCRF NMR Facility is supporting the Pharmaceutical industry with the latest and innovative solutions. Dr Anna Codina, Bruker presented an overview of NMR applications and the latest on hardware and software. Prof. Anita Maguire, UCC & SSPC, chaired a round table session, which featured leading players from industry:

The discussion highlighted the growing use of NMR in Pharma and its applicability in late stage development and manufacturing. Applications of both benchtop and high field NMR in PAT, QA/QC were considered.
